Merrymead’s Pasture Party Area

Looking for a little space to call your own? Whether you are celebrating the young or young at heart for a birthday, treating clients to some time with the family, or bringing family and friends together for fall fun, Merrymead’s pasture party area is a beautiful space to set up and enjoy any special occassion.

  • 3 hours reservation time – Either 11AM-2PM or 5PM-8PM

  • A private campfire pit for your guests to enjoy– daytime & evening parties (you must provide your own smore’s supplies & roasting sticks if making smore’s)

  • 6 picnic tables and benches (seats 40 people) that are 6-ft long.

  • Additional benches around the tent for seating.

  • (2) 6-ft folding tables that are used as serving tables for your food.

  • A  wagon for moving cargo to and from your vehicle. Typically the host will use it for set-up and then have it as a location for gifts.

** All tables must be covered with table covering**

Private Parties & Group Events Policies & Rules

  • Basic decorating in your area is allowed, however we ask that you take all decorations you brought, which includes your balloons
  • You must provide your own tablecloths, paper products, serving utensils, etc.
  • We strongly encourage you to bring your own food.
  • Find a means to serve your food without the use of grills & open flame chafing dishes, they make us uneasy

  • No Piñatas, paints, or stickers at your area

  • Alcohol is not allowed

  • Pets need to stay home

Your reservation time is 3 hours long. You can notify your guests of a timeframe that suites your personal preference, as long as it is within the window of your scheduled party time. Hosts should know before arrival how they want to organize their time. Having a game plan for your guests helps you and them have a great time here at Merrymead.

We find that once your group is together it is best to keep them in the party area for food & cake first.  Your activity bands should be distributed to your guests upon arrival and then can go do the activities in a timeframe you see fit.  Please be sure to communicate with your guests the end time of your party incase they get separated from the group while doing the activities here at the farm.  It is a good idea to give guests a specific time to comeback to the party area for either more fellowship or clean- up.
