School Field Trips

Fun and learning on the farm!

For over 30 years, thousands of students have been thrilled when their school enriched their educational experience by bringing them to our family farm. As time has marched on, we still welcome the young and the young at heart to come and embrace what it’s like here at Merrymead.

  • Bring a packed lunch and enjoy the outdoors at our picnic tables!

  • Please encourage everyone to dress appropriately. Activities are outdoors!

  • Field Trip times are available on Wednesdays , Thursdays,  select Tuesdays , & Friday 10/31

  • The minimum number of children and adults for the Fall Trip is 20 people total

Reservations for the trip must be made in advance ONLINE

Fall School / Daycare Trips

Venture through our 900 ft. cornstalk tunnel and take a scenic hayride around our 100+ acres of cornfields to enjoy the best time of year, Fall!

Cost

Early Season-  $13 per student/chaperone (classroom teachers are complimentary)

Peak Season-  $14 per student/chaperone (classroom teacher are complimentary)

Includes:

A Spooky Pumpkin

Each individual person registered in your group will receive a pumpkin bag to pick out their favorite “spooky” pumpkin to take home as a reminder of their class trip to Merrymead!

Fresh Cider Donuts

We also prepare a yummy box of fresh cider donuts for your group (one per person) to be enjoyed here at the picnic tables or back at school.

Photo Ops
Your class will enjoy all the sights, sounds, and smells that Fall has to offer.  Bring your best smiles to the farm to capture giggles and memories being made on your Fall trip to Merrymead

*Please Note:  Field trip reservations are for schools, daycares, or home school co-ops.  If you are a Mom’s group, please come to the farm on your preferred day for general public check-in.
